Wrestling Lives Inside Our MMA and BJJ Programs
Finding dedicated wrestling classes for adults in Central Florida outside of a school or college program is nearly impossible. That's why Gracie Barra Celebration integrates wrestling fundamentals directly into our MMA and No-Gi BJJ training — takedowns, sprawls, underhook battles, and mat returns are drilled regularly and applied in live rounds.
Head Instructor Rodrigo Frezza structures the MMA curriculum to include dedicated wrestling segments: penetration steps for single and double-leg entries, sprawl and re-shot sequences, clinch work against the cage/wall, and top-position control from takedown to finish. In No-Gi BJJ, stand-up grappling and takedown chains are part of every class progression.
Whether you're a former high school or college wrestler looking to stay sharp, or someone who's never shot a takedown but wants to learn, GB Celebration's 200-member training room gives you a diverse range of partners to develop your wrestling game. Students from Celebration, Kissimmee, Champions Gate, and Reunion train here year-round.
